The Vit-Buckle Society (VBS) is a non-profit, voluntary organization that focuses on retina education and the development of vitroretinal surgeons. Each year the organization hosts an annual meeting attended by several hundred participants from around the world. For this project, I was tasked with creating meeting materials including event documents, animations, banners, and swag, all within the theme of Alice in Wonderland.
It's easy to fall into the rabbit hole of Alice in Wonderland design elements, so it was important to decide early on which characters and design direction I wanted to take. From there, I selected the fonts and developed the base assets that would be used across the wide variety of materials needed for the meeting. My goal was to create a cohesive theme that was easily recognizable as the 2026 Vit-Buckle Society Meeting.
